What's your run?

Eden Northwest

51:21 - ran at a 2.5% incline to take some of the impact out of the equation.

300 c/d + 50 of just laying and sculling cuz my shoulders were sore

Need to get back to doing more stroke stuff, less I wind up with an impinged shoulder again. But feeling good and stoked about getting so much yardage in. Trying to get threshold pace back to something decent, but need to think about how to train for speed more (ie, 200 free speed, since my 200/500/1000 pace is practically the same...) where's Shannon... pull ups and dips, right?!

AB, 7B, E.EL w/Judson. Slow again, ~57:30, but legs felt a little better than yesterday. Judson kept going for another 3. Not me.

Looks like I'm doing the running leg at the Tri for Clyde Yarnell's team from VT.

You are?

Guess I don't have to call him back. Sounded like fun but I had to check times and it turns out I can't do it anyway. Have fun and kick some butt in my absence.

8 miles & 8 bridges CW with Shannon & Zoe

A beautiful morning with great company. Got to run with Frank for part of it too. Saw Vanessa, Julie, & Karen before and after. Shannon landed a leaf on our run. Karen grabbed 2 in the parking lot. Life is good in the woods.

11 miles

seven bridges, eagle lake and then back into town. Things are coming together and even though I am in below average shape right now, all that matters is what kind of shape I'm in in 7 weeks.

Man have I gotten some calls for this Tri. Everyone wants me to run. talk about calling me short notice. Sorry, I'm headed to Sugarloaf for the uphill challenge and it may be a challenge since not only do I have to run up that mnt., but I think Evan and PJ may be there. Luckily it's only 3 miles, and one hill, haha. Either way it's the perfect thing to complete my two week hill phase which has had me going up seven bridges pretty much each day. Next week things get flatter.

4.7mi

Running...jogging...something, with RK in Bangor. Good to get the blood flowing properly in the leg muscles again.

4.7mi

and singing... Scott was singing David Bowie's "Ground Control to Major Tom" to me today... another not well known talent of his! (insert LOLcreature here).

New goal

Some day I want to run quick enough to stay near Scott so I can hear him burst into song when get goes into oxygen debt. : )

Aunt Betty loop with Bob and Little Miss ZLiz, on a beautiful day in perfect weather. And a leaf catch in memory of one of several Mike B's in our crew!

He warns me

that if I ever hear that song (Space Oddity) in a major race, it's all over.

He just better watch out if I start shouting out lyrics to Dropkick Murphys songs. ;)

45 minutes...

...just a spinnin' in the living room.

4 miles

The Schooner Head path gets longer and better every week. And what a beautiful day--wish I had time to run longer.

I haz MID WEEK ESCAPED

to the island :D

working at CBC again tomorrow and am here tonight, oh it feels so good.

Goodnight stars
