clicky
I wasn't planning a workout today after pushing it yesterday, but I needed some amusement for the TM. :)

A very nice run with Shannon, joined for about half of it by Bob C. on his bike. It started pouring about 30 seconds after I left the EL parking lot--sometimes the timing works better than others.
Right after we got back home the sky really seemed to open up. Not that rain running is bad, but it was nice to look like we had a grand plan as far as the timing goes. And the run felt terrific today, so I don't care a whit if we got rained on or not. : ) Hope Bob made it back to Hulls Cove before the majority of it came down.
Good job tour du lac-ers!
ellsworth biotech to eagle lake on the "iron (aluminum)horse", 1 mile run
Around Day Mtn - a wash in all ways.
Considering the possibility that current problems are being caused by partially displaced or bent pins. After not being diagnosed for eight weeks and two surgeries since, I don't think the fracture knit together well at all; I think it's possible that I broke the sonofabugger again in early April - two weeks I put myself back on the crutches then, I suppose it hurt enough to be a minor fracture - and that would have provided ample opportunity for messing up pins and twisting the bone slightly differently.
I wonder because I think I can feel one of the pins poking up where it shouldn't be. And because the muscle and fascia directly above it feels like fire whenever it contracts, is palpated or that leg is fully extended. Food for thought, anyway.
I'm sorry to read this. It's really serious stuff. Probably time to take this impact sport off the calender, after the reaccessment by your physician, long long rest, and physical therapy. But you need to convince yourself regarding an "athletes recovery", ask Dr Dave and Judson
