What's your run?
classic EL CCW.
'Bout 40:40 for me, Judson a minute ahead. We ran together through just past four then I couldn't keep up.
bike: 32 min swim: 3200 scy
he leads you out with a false sense of speed...and then...WHAMMO...he starts talk'in to everbody
I'm not the one who shows up in a speed suit and is wearing spikes.
Plus I don't wake up until about 3-4 miles, and if someone is still with me, it's usually not for long, heehee.
I'm staying with you for longer and longer each run.
Did you see my nice and relaxed arms this morning, I didn't get spit off the back until the Bridges.
What Alyie said, except I stopped with 100 meters to go and chatted with Bob and Becky, so it really took me about 45 minutes to get around.
Enjoy the day.
on the East Side of EL with Becky, Ginger, & Bozo, plus some bonus encounters with Vanessa, Bob C, & Suzanne. Ginger let me run with Boxo a bit, who was extremely well behaved. Life is good in the woods. Happy 3rd anniversary to Bob & Becky C. Nice pace around EL Alyie.
4 with the above crew. Yup, Bozo minds Bob better than me. Bob wanted to see if Bozo could run 6 min pace, I would have joined them but wanted to watch Bozo run;) Bozo did it! Funny to see his ears flapping at that pace. There's not too much flapping going on when I have the leash.
Nice job Suzanne, I'm impressed with your double running plans + jogger. If anyone can do it, it's you! Is your calf all better?
The first run was at 8am with CeCelia and Desiree....we went CW and we all liked the change. As we finished, Lori Fineman was waiting for me...so I dashed to the car for a sip of water and away we went out towards WHP and back. I averaged 9:40 for the whole thing, which isn't too bad considering it was my longest since the injury and I was pushing DeLaney.
You looked fresh as a daisy when I saw you, Ginger! Yes, my calf is 100% now and I even have a workout to look forward to on Saturday.
Nice to see everyone (runners I did and didn't recognize) AND I stole a kiss from Bob Boyd!!!
...to round out my day~
From EL, around WHP/PH and back. I haven't run in over a week. It felt great. I did tool around on the bike all over Martha's Vineyard on my vacation, and I swam in the warm ocean too :)
Around sunset, as I was finishing up my run, a big brown owl swooped over my head from behind me, and then glided down the carriage road in front of me. Perfect. It was totally silent. It startled me at first, it probably wasn't any more than 10 feet away from me.
Saturday I am running a 5k in Thomaston. A year ago, I ran that race as my first ever 5k, which I finished with difficulty. I am excited to see the difference in my results this year!
Happy Anniversary Becky and Bob!
In the mist this morning. Felt a little creaky after hard running at the track yesterday but loosened up by the time I was halfway through.
