Stars and Stripes

Enjoy your weekend everyone...

Stars and Stripes FOREVER! (Muppets variation)

7 miles....

Ran around bass harbor with Mike B

Trauma at the lake

I fell over Bozo at the top of the hill and got a booboo. It was great, I rolled around and lied there splayed out for a while really milking it. Tourists were rushing over, it was great. Mark had to help me up. Tom K. must have sensed something was wrong because he showed up at the lake with his medical kit and took care of my injury. No joke!

Dramatics!

You can't fool me. I know you're just looking for another HUGE TROPHY, this time for taking the best digger. I believe this category has some stiff competition though.

Fun 4 at EL with a couple of bonus

walking miles. I got to enjoy time with Ginger, Becky, Mark, Bob C, Vanessa, & Kay. Clearly I should have been running with Bozo to avert that medical emergency at the top of 8. We should get Tom Kirby some cavalry music to play whenever he rolls up. He's helped rescue many of us at Eden. Life is good in the woods.

Catching up

Ginger, sorry about the bump. I'm not at all surprised about TomK though. He has an amazing knack for showing up at the critical moment like a guardian angel. Did he bring Swedish Fish?

85 min. riding today, a bit quicker than planned (so many rabbits to chase. They're irresistible).

75 min. yesterday with 8 x 20 sec. sprints.

Rest the day before that.

Come support the Emerson School's 8th grade class trip fund raiser tomorrow at the ball field. They're selling beaded earrings and key rings as well as chances at a 50/50 raffle.

Have a great weekend everyone!

10 miles bike

Had a speed workout all prepared for the TM during DeLaney's naptime, but we were without power for FIFTEEN hours after the storm last night. *sigh* Things here still aren't right....fuses blown, no power in the shop, TV can't get a signal....

Anyway, I can take today off from running and still get my goal mileage in so no worries.

REALLY looking forward to taking DeLaney to the parade tomorrow. Happy 4th Eden!

see ginger

i told you and Becky tons of people were without power and you had me stop and work for 45min. on that tiny scuff mark on your hand and hip.
