Our next Eden Athletics Jack Russell's Point Series race is this Sunday at 8:30 a.m. It's a good race. If you aren't racing, you may find that volunteering is also fun. Race Director, Suzanne Bracey, would like to hear from you if you are interested, at 244-9555. More details and a link to the race entry form are on our race calendar.

Book Club:

In Again to Carthage, Cassidy is the guest speaker the night before a race. However, the reader only hears a single line of his talk before the scene shifts to the race. Lets have some fun and finish the list - what are the other nine things a runner has never said?

My hopes that John Parker, Jr., whom I think is still an Eden member, does not scream "AAAA! What is Alyie doing with my book?!" at this thread. The excerpt I'm referring to:

does anyone know who I can call to get an application for this race?

A member emailed and asked me if I knew anything about the date, time, details of the MDI tri. I know nothing... does anyone else have info?

I am looking for a picture of OJ Logue for this week's Islander. I wrote an article about the upcoming Acadian Running Camp and would like a pic to accompany it. I haven't been able to get in touch with him or his family today so........Thanks in advance for any help!

How many races are required to participate in the series competition?

How do I change my password?

I have been searching this site for way too long trying to find a list of the 2009 Eden series races and have had no success. Am I overlooking something? Please help!

Hi all,
I am looking to get a regular group track workout started in Ellsworth...it's just so much better to suffer with others!

Please let me know if you are interested and let me know what day/evening works best. I will get in touch with the appropriate EHS folks to make certain we can use the EHS track.

Hope everyone is running with a smile.

I'm sure you all know Ryan King the president of SUB 5 Track Club. He gave me a fantastic interview promoting SUB 5 and the sport you all love...Running. In addition during the interview he mentioned Eden Athletics. Feel free to listen to him at www.designerhealthnet.com.

I have another suprise for you all next week, so you will be hearing from me next Sunday and Eden Athletics will have a link on my talk show page too.

Hi, I hope you had a splendid weekend!

This week’s guest is International basketball star, Steve Rich. Steve talks with me about his illustrious career and what it takes to stay in shape working in the high pressure world of European basketball franchises. Steve has an impressive career spanning a dozen years. Steve and I also discuss the frustration of coming back after an injury. To listen to the show go to www.designerhealthnet.com and go to the talk show page.
