Eden Officers for 2012

The Eden 2012 Officers are:

President – Bob Boyd
Vice President – Ginger King
Treasurer – Bonnie Murphy with John Murphy representing at meetings
Secretary – Mark Wanner
Membership – Laura Anderson
At Large – Amanda Dyer
At Large – Ron Korstanje

There are two first time officers above, Membership Director Laura Anderson and Officer At Large, Ron Korstanje. Welcome aboard! The rest of the Officers are returning. Everyone's service is appreciated. Thanks to John Sanders and Michele Gagnon for their service as Officers for our club in 2011. After a successful nominations process, we have an excellent slate of candidates and are now ready to vote.

These are the offices and the candidates (screen names in parentheses) for whom you may vote. The description of each officer’s responsibilities is included as well for your consideration.

PRESIDENT. The president shall preside at all meetings of the Association and shall coordinate the work of the officers to promote the objectives and policies of the Association. It shall be the duty of the president to enforce the Bylaws as well as the policies set forth by the Association.

The final Eden 2011 Point Series Results are up. Congratulations to all who competed and to our overall Point Series winners, Jean Bell & Bob Bachorik. Thanks to Judy Blake for tracking the points and check out the 2011 results at:

The Rolling Bones was the last race of the Series and was a big success. Special thanks to Mark Wanner & Ginger King for directing the race, along with a great team of volunteers, who put together a high quality event for us all.

Important Membership Reminder!!!

Just a friendly reminder that the one month "grace period" will end Sunday (Jan 31st) for memberships that expired at the end of 2009. We do not want to remove ANYBODY from the Eden roster, so please get those applications rolling in. The members page contains the roster where you can check the status of your membership. My contact information is there as well, please do not hesitate to call or email with questions. Remember...we want YOU on Team Eden!

While we received many emails being very pleased with the slate of officers recommended by the nominating committee, no other Eden members were nominated or self-nominated for the Eden Officer positions. With one candidate for each officer position there is no benefit to a formal vote. Therefore, on behalf of the Nominating Committee & all Eden members, we wish to congratulate the following on their election to the Eden Officer positions and thank them for their work and willingness to serve our club:
