Running Log TutorialIntroductionThere are several ways one can keep a running-log. A notebook and pencil works great for a lot of people. Many others invest in running-log software they install on their computer, or use an application that works with a specific heart-rate monitor or watch. Online running-logs are by no means the only option available to you, nor are any two online running-logs the same. For the sake of simplicity and continuity, Crow Athletics will post links to online running-logs that allow public viewing of user accounts. Not all services provide this option. We can also provide links to individuals' websites, if that is where they post their running-log. CoolRunning.com is an excellent service that is easy to use. If you don't already use an online running-log, we recommend this one. (To learn why, read the development notes.) To create and share a running log using CoolRunning.com, follow the instructions below: Creating a Cool Running Running-Log

Training Logs
Shared experience is the essence of sport. Including others in your daily routine fosters a sense of community and offers everyone an opportunity to gain from your struggles and triumphs. It would be nice if we could all run together when it suited us. It would be nice if we were all world record holders. It would be really nice if we were all so wise as to never need the advice of others, or suffer the scrutiny of our elders. But who are we kidding, right? The fact is that we all need each other. Keeping a running log can be personally beneficial for a variety of reasons, but perhaps what it can offer others is just as important. Please consider starting an on-line training-log, and sharing it with the rest of us. Related LinksGet Involved Development Notes Training-Log Options |
