I recently moved to Bar Harbor from the Burlington, VT, area. I ran in HS and college, took 11 years off, and am now in my fifth year back to it. I like longer distances and have run 12 marathons and 2 trail ultras, including a 50 mile in 2004. Long runs on the carriage roads are, in my opinion, about as good as it gets.
